Join us on Friday (21+) and Saturday (All Ages) Evenings as the Faire transforms into a twilight celebration filled with music, revelry, and enchantment! From fire shows to music, magic and mischief - the veil of darkness brings a magical energy to the Village of Merriwick. Fill your tankard and dance the night away at The Knight Club!
Please note: The Knight Club is a separately ticketed event, not included with Daytime Faire admission. Knight Club admission is included with all Camping Packages.

What is a Guild? A Guild is a group of performers, re-enactors, or enthusiasts who come together to portray a specific community, trade, or culture from the Renaissance period (or a similar historical/fantasy setting).
Cast & Guilds serve as educational, interactive and thematic elements of the Faire by showcasing period-appropriate costumes, hosting activities in their Guild yards, and truly embodying their characters.
Cast & Guild Members are keen to have visitors join in the fun, so don’t be afraid to participate in all of their shenanigans!

Sky Dancers Burlesque

The Sky Dancers Burlesque & Variety Troupe delivers performances that blend classic burlesque tease, fusion belly dance, aerial and pole acts and live singing burlesque. They bring a magnetic stage presence, and a passion for empowering expression. They have been performing together for a little over five years and are based on the Olympic Peninsula. Performances range from playful to passionate, to comical and everything in between. The Sky Dancers are Roxy Rosè, Sassy Jean, Nebula Sea Star and The Duchess of ProXecco- founder of Indigo Sky Productions.

The Spice Boys

What if the golden age of piracy and the golden age of boy bands happened at the same time? The Spice Boys are here to bring you that dream, in an homage to popular bands from the Y2K era, and career criminals from the 18th Century. Pirates are the ultimate bad boys of history! Of course they would be in a boy band!
The Spice Boys are the world’s first pirate-themed parody boy band, combining full choreography, live harmonies, and cheeky pirate comedy into a one-of-a-kind musical experience. Featuring brothers Parsley, Sage, Rosemary & Thyme (and the fifth member of the band, Black Pepper) this crew is setting sail to steal your gold, your women, AND your hearts. These harmonic hunks are primed to become your new favorite Faire act!
Vertical Axis

The Pacific Northwest based aerial duo Vertical Axis loves weaving aerial silk magic with whimsical storytelling for the witnesses of their performance art! Together Nick and Amanda have been performing as an aerial duo in the PNW for a decade and absolutely adore spreading their joyful art from the bustling courts of the Renaissance Faire to the enchanting waters of the Mermaid festival. When they are not performing for the fae folk and pirate crews, they are coaching others in healthy body movements and how to also express themselves through movement art.
Stout Pounders

Stout Pounders is a Seattle-based Irish Folk and Celtic Rock band that infuses fresh energy into traditional Scottish and Irish Folk music while incorporating original songs influenced by genres ranging from Ska to Metal. For years, the band has been a driving force in the PNW Celtic Rock scene, sharing the stage with renowned acts like Young Dubliners, Seven Nations, Screaming Orphans and The Wellermen. Their high-energy performances and infectious sound have earned them repeat invitations to KZOK’s Bob Rivers Morning Show, where they had the honor of playing live on-air for two St. Patrick’s Day celebrations. Since 2009, their music has become a staple of Seattle’s biggest and most established fun run, the St. Patrick’s Day Dash, where they serve as the house band, fueling the city's festive spirit with their electrifying tunes.
Belfast Bandits

The Belfast Bandits formed in 2014 with a vision of showcasing the joy of traditional Celtic music and to mix it with familiar songs that an audience can connect with. We play foot-stomping dance-able tunes, encourage the audience to sing along, and always play with a smile. Since forming all those years ago, we have played at Murphy's Pub (Wallingford), Kells (Seattle), Irish Rover (Kirkland), Owl 'n Thistle (Seattle), Tim's Tavern (White Center), Conor Bryne (Ballard), Growler Guys (Seattle), Bailey's (Whidbey Island) and many smaller venues. We are ready to make our Renaissance Faire debut at the WMRF Knight Club this year!
Jacques Ze Whipper

America’s Got Talent contestant and TikTok sensation Jacques ze Whipper brings an act to the stage honed by a lifetime circus performing. Come on down for music, whips, and comedy in a show that’s never the same twice!
When Pigs Fly

Now that her children are grown and her profession is done, Linnae likes to wander the world playing her fiddle at fairs, markets, and festivals. She thoroughly enjoys it, and she wants everyone else to enjoy it too. Her bow is her sword, used to bring all under her spell.
The Artisan's Hall

The Artisan’s Hall breathes life into the past by exploring the foodways and crafts of the 16th century. Because the renaissance wasn’t only a time of artists and playwrights, soldiers, queens, and popes, it was a groundswell of normal, ordinary people advancing their lot generation by generation through the sweat of their own brows and the callouses of their own hands.
Swedish Court

Hailing from distant shores, Princess Cecilia of Sweden and her enchanting court have arrived in Merriwick for a royal visit unlike any other. With grace and grandeur, Her Highness invites guests of all ages to step into her lavish encampment—where the elegance of courtly life meets the joy of animal companionship. Come meet her beloved menagerie of unicorns, rabbits, and goats, each pampered and adored by the princess herself. Guests are welcome to feed the royal beasts special treats and pose for their very own Flemish-style portrait, fit for display in the halls of nobility. Whether you're a noble or a curious commoner, the Swedish Court offers a whimsical escape into the gentler side of Renaissance splendor.
Liffey the Bard

Soprano songstress Liffey the Bard wanders the lanes of Merriwick, serenading denizens and guests alike with lilting ballads, folk songs, and the occasional extra-temporal pop culture reference. Toss a coin to your Liffey, you’ll at least get a song out of it!
Mermaid Guild

Venture to the watery edge of the realm and discover the enchanting Mermaid Guild, where shimmering tails, siren songs, and ocean tales await! These mythical denizens of the deep have swum their way from the waters of The Wyldewood to delight guests with stories of the sea, sparkling smiles, and waves of whimsy. Whether you seek a photo with a real-life mermaid, wish to learn of undersea legends, or simply want to bask in the glow of their otherworldly beauty, the Mermaid Guild is a magical stop for guests of all ages. Come say hello, and don't forget to ask what treasure lies beneath the waves...
Hawkwood's Troupe

In Renaissance Europe, there’s always a war going on somewhere. Hawkwood’s Troupe makes that war their business. They demonstrate advanced historical fighting techniques in several styles and offering the chance to learn how to swing your sword like a mercenary! An ongoing project combining resources from several Oregon and Washington schools of Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA) to educate the public about the realities of warfare in the Middle Ages and renaissance and how much fun historical martial arts can be! But watch out, you may just be recruited into the Troope!
Queen Elizabeth I

Queen Elizabeth I, is on progress this summer through the quaint village of Merriwick to enjoy their Midsummer Faire. Playing the role of Queen Elizabeth is the lovely Hanna Blazer from Southern California. She is over the moon excited to once again be joining the cast of the Washington Midsummer Renaissance Faire for the 2025 season. She brings with her a wealth of historical knowledge, theatrical training, and a deep love of the Renaissance Faire.
Cat v. Canary

Founded by the illustrious and enigmatic Lady Catherine von Canarii, the Cat v. Canary Guild is a gathering of game masters, scholars, and rogues who delight in the fine art of diversion. A patroness of curiosity and cunning, Lady Catherine has traveled the globe collecting games—and admirers—and now holds court in her opulent camp, surrounded by a fiercely loyal and eclectic household.
By royal decree of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth I, the Guild has been granted letters patent to introduce the Queen’s subjects to games of chance, with coin play reserved for the twilight hours. By day, the Guild offers free demonstrations of games of strategy, chance, and skill from across the world—welcoming all to test their minds and mettle.
Whether thou seekest to sharpen thy wits or merely to be entertained, the Cat v. Canary Guild awaits with mirth, mystery, and just a hint of mischief.
BOOM Pirates

Wonder Elixir of Life Show

The Wonder Elixir of Life show is a classic, Renaissance-era 'medicine show' in the style of the Mountebanks of the Tudor Era and beyond. Drawing on many sources, and speaking in some of the smoothest fast-patter around, our characters extol the virtues of their 'amazing elixir' and continue to delight and entertain the audience in the meantime with small routines of 'fortune telling', magic, and humor.
The Tortuga Twins

Outrageously unpredictable and audaciously hilarious, these three “twins” are improv comedy storytellers extraordinaire—which is not an easy thing to say with a mouth full of laughter! Their special blend of stage comedy and audience participation has been labeled “Funny-Bone-Breaking Humorous.” You have been warned.”
Sirens of Circe

Hello, sailors! The Sirens of Circe are an irresistible a cappella group ready to lure you in with harmonies as rich as their wit. Equal parts bawdy and beautiful, their sets range from haunting ballads like Wild Mountain Thyme and Both Sides the Tweed to cheeky tavern tunes like Cuckoo’s Nest and Caviar, and even viral TikTok favorites like Savage Daughter and My Mother Told Me.
With vivacious personalities, a sharp sense of humor, and a little temptation for everyone, no two Sirens performances are ever the same—except for the fact that you’ll always leave wanting more.
The Lords of Adventure

We are the Lords of Adventure! We perform a token “Two-man comedy sword fighting show that you would see at an outdoor festival show” show with a great message. Each day, we strive to bring smiles to the faces of all the guests of a festival. We have two 30-minute, family-friendly shows that share a great message about living a life of confidence and adventure.
sämäs

With a blend of pop vocals, folk instrumentation, and cinematic underscoring, sämäs heralds in a new musical experience designed to uplift and transform souls of all ages. Their all-original music is inspired by fantasy, myth, the cosmos, and the wonders of nature, and it features tight vocal harmonies and driving rhythms created by big drums and percussive tap dancing.
The Seadogs

The Seadogs perform Nautical music and songs, with a healthy injection of comedy and sailor-y theatrics….from old-world shanties & work songs done in the traditional style to more upbeat interpretations of classic sea songs, to modern & original seafaring music. Having started in 1985, the Seadogs are the longest-running nautical band on the West Coast!
Paolo Garbanzo: Danger Juggling

Paolo Garbanzo has performed for crowds all over the US and Europe. He’s been a member The Flying Karamazov Brothers, earned the Lifetime Achievement Award by the International Juggling Association, and performs his shows in three languages. In 2007 he won the International Jester Competition, making him an official Jester of Muncaster Castle in England, and the first American in history to be an official Jester of an English castle. Committed to comedy, skills, and his audience, he continues to grow as a performer and producer.
Jim MacKenzie: Comedian with Mad Skills

Jim has been keeping vaudeville alive since 1985 and continues to add new original routines to the act. He learned to juggle at a young age from his dad. He picked up sword swallowing and other skills along the way, taught himself violin, and put it all in a comedy show that has become a favorite with audiences around the country. He’s been featured on national TV and legitimate theater. Experience in-the-moment comedy and amazing original feats.
Clergy of Errors

Improvised Penance. Unholy Laughter. Righteous Fun. Some monastic orders make wine. Others take vows of silence. But The Clergy of Errors? They make things up—on purpose. These traveling monks bring a holy order of hilarity to the lanes and stages of the Faire, offering improvised comedy sermons that absolve all sins... of bad jokes past. Whether thou seeketh redemption or just a good belly laugh, their sacred mission is clear: to deliver righteous joy unto the masses. With offerings in both family friendly and not safe for church styles, the Clergy tailor each show to their congregation. No two services are the same—except for the laughter and the blessed absurdity. Come, be baptized in the comedy of the cloth!
Equestrian Chaos

Equestrian Chaos is a family of women that travel the United States bringing the thrill of mounted battle archery to life. They give their fans an up close and personal experience with horses, bows, flying arrows, and archers. This predominantly female show is the only mounted archery stunt show in the world bringing the biggest draw to audiences everywhere.
Baksana

Baksana music and dance ensemble performs colorful pieces inspired by eastern lands. Adventure, passion, and humor combine to tell stories through movements. “Baksana” is Turkish for “Hey! Over here!” which compliments their energetic and captivating presence. Swords, veils, assaya, cymbals, and lots of improvisation are used to create unique audience experiences.
BOWI

For years, Seattle based BOWI has been entertaining audiences with a blend of traditional Celtic music and unique energy. The BOWI sound encompasses a wide range of music including driving Jigs and Reels, exciting vocals, and beautiful ballads. An incredibly flexible and adaptive group, BOWI has performed at everything from Pubs and local faires, to private parties and weddings. Acoustic or “Plugged in”, BOWI has never failed to get the hands clapping and feet stomping.
BrooN

Broon is a variety comedian who has toured all over the country for more than twenty years presenting a show of side-splitting laughter and amazing stunts. With a strong background in improvisational theater and street performing he has developed a spontaneous and edgy style that guarantees no two shows will be exactly alike. One part stand-up comic and one part sideshow performer Broon amazes with magic, fire eating, juggling, and bullwhips all wrapped up with a sardonic wit that will leave you breathless.
Faye the Living Statue

A delightfully different and captivating character, Faye is a favorite of all ages. From charming children to sweetly startling adults unawares, Faye has a way of grabbing your attention with even the most small, subtle wave. She has two platforms, one tall and one small, so as to have the ability of being placed at different locations if desired. While mostly peaceful and serene, Faye can be a fun, little trickster and create a chuckle-worthy scene. Faye is fantastic for a fun, fast, and often funny photo opportunity!
Jeremy Graeff Duo

Jeremy Graeff has traveled far and wide in pursuit of songs from all over the world! Every show is an adventure through space and time through sharing music from the Medieval and Renaissance eras of Europe as well as original songs. Joining him on stage is multi-instrumentalist Mark Williams, who brings lovely melodies, close harmonies, and a sense of wonder and delight to every show!
The Lynx Show

The Lynx Show is a unique blend of magic, sword swallowing and comedy. Lynx is a veteran when it comes to performing at Renaissance festivals across the country. Not only is there audience interaction and participation but a strong positive message at the end. From death defying feats of amazement to bewildering moments that just can’t be explained, The Lynx Show is sure to thrill you! So, don’t miss out and be part of the fun!
Manis O'Tool

Witness the ‘Manis O’Tool and his Imperial Tibetan yak show’! Please note that on the very rare occasion that his incredibly trained yak, Clark, goes missing right before the big show, Manis will be forced to improvise – fortunately he’s got hilarious stories, jokes, some audience participation and maybe even a dangerous stunt or two that he can pull out of his sleeve in a pinch… Enjoy the show, and if needed, please keep an eye out for Clark.
Piccolo Puppet Players

The Piccolo Puppet Players presents The Punch & Judy Show! Done in the traditional British style. Prepare for lots of color, laughter and audience interaction. Mr. Punch is a light hearted anti-hero who gets himself in and out of trouble by the use of his wits. He meets many colorful characters throughout the show: Judy, his wife; the Baby; Joey the clown; the Constable, who never fails to misapprehend Mr.Punch, the Crocodile who swallows his stick and many others! Join us at the Oakwood Puppet Pavilion!
Robin Hood & Maid Marian Present!

Join Robin Hood and Maid Marian for magical storytelling! Six members of the audience star in these high-energy, interactive retellings of “St. George & the Dragon” and “The Tales of Robin Hood”! Heroes, villains, cheering, screaming, and hilarity ensues!
Ses Carny's Double-Edged Daredevils

Experience the thrill of “Ses Carny’s Double-Edged Daredevils,” a riveting 25-minute show filled with daring and laughter. Marvel at Ses Carny as he fearlessly consumes fire and breathes out spectacular flames, transforming into a modern-day dragon right before your eyes. Witness the courageous Crimson Locksley stand still as knives whirl around her in a breathtaking display of precision and trust. Highlighting the show is the jaw-dropping “Blinded Knife Throwing” act, a true testament to the impossible made possible. Join us for a performance that not only entertains but inspires, reminding us that nothing is impossible.
Supernova the Strongwoman

Supernova the Strongwoman is your chance to experience the thrill of high-octane entertainment. This world-class athlete, daredevil, and steel-bender pushes her muscles to the limit to bring you a one-of-a-kind spectacle that is at once powerful, and playful. Members of the audience are invited to join Supernova on stage, and to become leading protagonists along the journey of insane stunts, comical shenanigans, and the wanton destruction of perfectly good metal! Trained by Cirque du Soleil coaches, Supernova delivers precision acrobatic skills coupled with the explosive force of a human recking ball. The whole family can join this cyclone of laughter, gasping, inspiration, and DEMOLITION!!!
The Lady Victoria

The Lady Victoria (Victoria Van Arnam) is a nationally touring Celtic musician specializing in the hammered dulcimer. Performing at Renaissance festivals across the country for 11 months of the year, she brings high-energy performances to audiences of all ages.
With six collaborative albums and two solo releases, Victoria is dedicated to keeping traditional music alive. Many of the tunes in her performances are over 200 years old, connecting listeners to history through melody. She plays a Scottish-style hammered dulcimer, an instrument with a rich global heritage and a direct ancestor of the piano.
Beyond performance, Victoria is passionate about making the hammered dulcimer accessible to new musicians. She has developed her own line of affordable instruments, designed to inspire the next generation of players. She also livestreams her music regularly and has produced lofi remixes of traditional tunes on a recent album.

Raptor Events

Raptor Events’ master falconer showcases the captivating art of falconry, a favored sport of the nobility of medieval Europe. Majestic birds of prey soar through the sky as they beat their wings in pursuit of their quarry. Conservation and animal education are at the core of the Raptor Events mission. After-show activities include a meet-and-greet with the falconer and his feathered assistants. As part of their company of conservation ambassadors, Raptor Events also displays a variety of reptile species, offering an engaging experience for a wide range of animal enthusiasts.
Tournament of Champions Jousting

Step into the roaring arena and witness the thunder and glory of the World Tournament of Champions, where chivalry, honor, and steel collide! Featuring the Knights of the Realm, this international troupe of elite horsemen, archers, and swordsmen brings the thrilling athletics of the Renaissance period to life with breathtaking skill and pageantry. Cheer on valiant champions from across the globe as they battle in thrilling games of skill and full-contact jousting, each one fighting to earn the favor of the crowd and the glory of the realm. Mistral the Minstrel

Mistral the Minstrel is an ideological multi-instrumentalist. Playing recorders and piano was his first jump into so many other music worlds and styles. At the Faire, you will find Ayal playing a variety of recorders and crumhorns, as well as the penny whistle, portative organ, pipe and tabor, and guitar. If you ask him nicely, he might even sing and dance!
Mordpfauen Landsknect

Stand clear—or stand in awe—as the MordPfauen Landsknecht Guild marches into the Renaissance Faire with bold colors, booming voices, and blades at the ready! This rowdy band of Renaissance-era mercenaries is here to showcase the martial prowess and battlefield bravado that made the Landsknecht legendary across Europe.
From thrilling swordplay demonstrations to outrageous tales of wartime mischief and mayhem, the MordPfauen bring the grit and glory of Renaissance warfare to life. Whether they're drilling recruits, bragging about battles past, or simply enjoying a tankard of ale, these mercs are never far from trouble—or laughter.

The Faeriesmashers

Have the fae overrun your village? Is there simply too much glitter, mischief, and unlicensed whimsy about? Fear not—The Faeriesmashers Guild has arrived!
Led by the infamous Wotan the Faeriesmasher, a friendly giant barbarian from the Emerald City, this raucous band of hammer-wielding, net-tossing brutes has one mission: to chase down every last bit of magic with chaos and glee. But beware—these “fearsome” warriors are easily defeated by even the smallest sprite!
Each day, the Guild trains younglings in the ancient art of fairy smashing, with storytime, a proper training montage, and a triumphant hunt through the village. Of course, the fae always win—but the children go home as conquering heroes, having bested the mighty barbarians in grand fairytale fashion. The Faeriesmashers Guild is equal parts mayhem and heart, delivering laughter, playful conflict, and endless photo ops. Catch them if you can—but be warned: they are highly allergic to fairy dust and blown kisses.

Join The King’s Drawers, the charming duo here to turn your likeness into masterpieces of amusement! With a flair for the absurd and a knack for crafting portraits at uncontrollable speeds, they create an unforgettable street theater experience of hilarity and heart. The Wyldewood Fae

From the magical realms of the Wyldewood, the Faerie Queen Tanaquil Glorianna has heard that King James VI is to be honored with a summer faire in the Vale of Dunrose. Intrigued to see a mortal King, she has gathered her court of Fae to come and partake of the festivities. Come meet the Faerie Queen, Princess Aurelia, their faeries, elves, goblins, satyrs, pixies, brownies and more! The Queen likes her entertainment, and so there will be songs, dancing, and crafting galoe - all aimed at enchanting your wee ones!
Traveler's Cheer Troupe

A traveling band of misfits, full of merry! Following brave champions throughout the realm of the PNW, we attend tournaments and jousts to help lead the crowds in raucous cheer and livery for our favorite knights and horses!
Wotan the Faeriesmasher

Meet Wotan the Faeriesmasher—towering barbarian, beloved chaos-bringer, and leader of the infamous Faeriesmashers Guild!
