Can I buy tickets at the gate?

The easiest way to connect with one of our AXS Fan Support / Customer Service agents is to use LIVE CHAT during business hours. Simply visit the AXS support help page and click the LIVE CHAT at the bottom right corner of the page.

What ticket types are available?

Singe Day Admission entry tickets are available for Adults (13+), Seniors (60+), Military/Veterans and their Spouses, and Youth (6-12). Children 5 & under are FREE!

Weekend Camping Packages are also available. Primary Camper Packages include a reserved campsite that is chosen at checkout. Add-on Campers (individuals joining a Primary Camper’s reservation) do not have an assigned campsite, and must join an existing Primary Camper reservation. Camping packages are available for Adults (18+), Seniors, Military, Teen (13-17), Youth (6-12); children 5 & under are also FREE for weekend camping. All camping packages include entry to the Faire on Saturday and Sunday, plus admission to the Friday Knight Club Party (21+ only!) and the Saturday Knight Club and Marketplace (All Ages) for (1) person. Each person camping in a group must hold either a Primary Camper Package or an Add-on Camper Package.

Add-on Experiences include Monarch Storytime and Tea Party with Princess Cecilia. These are separately ticketed events, and do not grant Faire entry. To access Add-on Experiences, you must also hold a Single Day Admission or Camping Package to enter the Faire.

There are no weekend passes or season passes available for WMRF.

Is the Knight Club all ages?

The Friday Knight Club Party is strictly 21+ and happens inside The Knight Club exclusively. 

The Saturday Knight Club & Marketplace is an All Ages event spanning 3 stages, a Night Market and the Royal Arena. With a dedicated All Ages stage (The Squire's Club), a 21+ stage (The Knight Club) and a live music stage (Ember Rose) - there is something happening throughout the night for the whole family to enjoy. All Ages are welcome into the Royal Arena for special performances and the nightly Fire Show. 

Are there discounts for Seniors (60+) or Military Service Members/Veterans?

Yes! Both Senior and Military discounts are available.

Military discount includes Active Duty/Retired, Veterans and Spouses.

Please be prepared to show valid ID at the gate for entry for both Senior and Military discounted tickets.

Can I print a paper ticket?

No, there are no paper tickets for Washington Midsummer Renaissance Faire. Simply download the AXS mobile app (for iOS or Android) and scan your AXS Mobile ID at the main gate for entry. Questions about this policy? Please email us at [email protected]

What is AXS Mobile ID?

AXS Mobile ID is the identity-based method of delivery for venue entry. It is a secure, unique digital code associated with an AXS account. You can only get your AXS Mobile ID by signing in to the AXS App.

What if I don’t have cell service at the gate?

Purchase your tickets online and download the AXS app to your device and sign into the app before arrival. As long as you have purchased your tickets and downloaded/signed into the AXS app, your AXS mobile ID will work offline. This does NOT work if you have not already downloaded and signed into the app.

Can I get a refund?

No refunds.

Can I resell my ticket?

WARNING – Please do not respond to users offering to sell or buy tickets via social media – many of these are scams.

The only safe and secure way to resell tickets to Washington Midsummer Renaissance Faire is through the AXS resale platform. You can put tickets up for sale on the AXS resale platform by signing into your account via axs.com or the AXS app (instructions are listed below).

Single daily entry tickets within the Season Pass & Weekend Pass can be transferred but Season Passes & Weekend Passes CANNOT BE RESOLD. All other ticket types can be resold via the secure AXS resale platform.

Follow these instructions to use the AXS Resale Platform:

  1. On the Sales page, marked by the Sell icon, select Start Selling.
  2. Review the bank account modal, then select Confirm.
  3. Select an event, select the available tickets you want to sell, then select Continue.
  4. Enter a price per ticket.
  5. In Ticket Splitting, select how your tickets can be split up for selling.
  6. In Listing Expiration, use the default time or select a custom time.
  7. In Credit Card, select an existing credit card or add a new card.
  8. (Optional) Add seller notes, as necessary.
  9. Select Continue.
  10. Review the listing, accept the terms, then select List Tickets.
  11. Select Done.

To buy tickets from the resale platform, please head to the Buy Tickets Now Page and click the “AXS Official Resale” button.

Can I transfer my ticket to a trusted friend or family member? How do I transfer a ticket?

Yes, all ticket types can be easily transferred to a trusted friend or family member via the AXS app or by signing into your account on AXS.com

Instructions for Transferring a Ticket:

  1. On the Your Events page, marked by the Tickets icon, select the event you want to transfer from the Upcoming tab.
  2. On the Tickets tab when viewing the ticket details, select Transfer.
  3. Select the seats or tickets you want to transfer, then select Continue.
  4. Enter the required information for the recipient, then select Continue.
  5. Review and confirm the details of the transfer, then select Continue.
  6. Select Done.
Can I change the date of my ticket?

PLEASE NOTE: Any ticket that has been transferred or resold cannot be changed to a different date! The original purchaser is the only guest able to change the date on a ticket.

All tickets can be exchanged to a different date as long as inventory remains for the desired date, but the guest is responsible for any difference in price from the date of purchase to the request date.

If a date is sold out, you cannot change a ticket to that date; tickets must be available on the date you wish to attend to initiate a date change request.

To request a date exchange, please submit the Date Exchange Request Form.

There is no way to self-service date changes on the AXS app or website.

Unredeemed tickets for dates that have already passed cannot be transferred to a future date unless the request is submitted prior to the event start time of the original ticket.

Is camping available onsite? What are the camping options?

There is both tent and RV camping available at the Washington Midsummer Renaissance Faire each weekend. Check out the Onsite Camping page to read about the various packages available. All camping packages include camping Fri-Sun, access to the Faire on Saturday & Sunday, plus Friday Knight Club (21+) and Saturday Evening Event (All Ages).

Can I change my campsite location after purchasing?

No. Unfortunately we are not able to switch camping spots that have already been purchased.

The only way to guarantee spots together is to coordinate ahead of time with your group and purchase them together/at the same time as the rest of your group.

However, you do have the option to put your original camping spot up for resale via the secure AXS resale platform and purchase the desired camping spot separately if you wish.

  1. Sign into your AXS account 
  2. On the Sales page, marked by the Sell icon, select Start Selling.

I bought multiple tickets in one transaction for my group, and now all the tickets have one name on them. Do I need to change the ticket to match the person who is using it?

If you are arriving together, it is OK to leave all tickets on a single AXS account. However, if you wish to arrive separately, you must transfer the appropriate ticket to that member of your group. To do so, simply follow the instructions below on AXS.com or the AXS app:

Instructions for Transferring a Ticket:

  1. On the Your Events page, marked by the Tickets icon, select the event you want to transfer from the Upcoming tab.
  2. On the Tickets tab when viewing the ticket details, select Transfer.
  3. Select the seats or tickets you want to transfer, then select Continue.

  5. Review and confirm the details of the transfer, then select Continue.

Are evening events included in my Faire Entry ticket?

No. Friday (21+) and Saturday (All Ages) evening events are ticketed events and must be purchased separately. Capacity is limited for evening shows, so please buy early to secure your spot! Buy Tickets Now

Are add-ons included in my Faire Entry ticket?

Tea Party with Princess Cecilia and Monarch Storytime are Add-on Experiences, meaning you must purchase a single day admission entry ticket to participate in all Add-on Experiences. Buying any Add-on Experience ticket does NOT give you entry to the Faire, which must be purchased separately.

Add-on Experience tickets are date-specific and begin at a set time! Be sure to buy the correct ticket for the day/time you wish to participate.
